Who is responsible
The data controller for this website and the studio is Sabina Venkova, trading as Sabina Foot Health, with the studio at 32 Francis Street, The Liberties, Dublin 8, D08 NN96, Studio 7.
You can contact the controller by WhatsApp on +353 85 195 5937 or by email at privacy email TBC.
What data is collected through this site
When you request an appointment through the site, the following is collected: your name, the contact detail you give (phone number or email), the service you have chosen, your preferred date, and any optional note you write.
The booking form deliberately does not ask for health information. Please do not include health details in the note field. Health data is special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR and is instead discussed at the appointment itself.
The site also stores a small amount of technical information necessary to keep it running, such as a language preference stored in your browser.
The legal basis for processing
Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, performance of a contract: to arrange and carry out the appointment you request.
Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, legitimate interest: to run the studio, respond to enquiries and keep basic records of appointments.
Article 9(2)(h) of the GDPR, together with section 52 of the Data Protection Act 2018: any health information you share at the appointment is processed for the provision of health or social care and treatment by a person who owes a duty of confidentiality to you.
Who else processes your data
The site is served by a hosting provider, the booking data is stored in a database provider, and messages may be delivered by an email provider. Each of them acts as a processor on my behalf, under a written contract, and none of them uses your data for their own purposes.
Payments happen in the studio, so no card or payment data goes through this site.
How long your data is kept
Booking requests and appointment records are kept for retention period TBC, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You can ask me to delete your record earlier at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data I hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it erased, to restrict or object to certain uses, and to withdraw any consent you have given.
If you would like to use any of these rights, message me on WhatsApp or write to privacy email TBC and I will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how your request is handled, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland. See dataprotection.ie for details.
