FOOT HEALTH PRACTITIONER · DUBLIN 8
I am Sabina, a Foot Health Practitioner with a private studio on Francis Street, Dublin 8. Calm, careful, unhurried appointments for skin and nail concerns on the feet, with clear advice on what to do next.
WHAT I HELP WITH
Most people put this off for months. You do not have to.
Your shoe presses on the side of your toe and you feel it with every step.
This is usually a minor ingrown toenail. Very often the edge of the nail is the cause, and conservative ingrown toenail care can ease it at the appointment.
There is a hard yellow patch under the ball of your foot that burns by evening.
That is a callus, or a corn if it has a hard central core. Hard skin builds up under pressure; reducing it usually brings relief the same day.
Your heels are cracked and catch on your tights and bed sheets.
Cracked heels respond well to care: rough skin can be reduced and softened, and I will show you how to keep it that way.
One nail has gone thick and dark and no longer fits comfortably in your shoe.
Thickened nails can be reduced and thinned so shoes stop hurting.
A nail is growing into the skin, the toe is red and sore to touch.
Conservative care can ease the pressure in most minor cases.
There is a spot on your sole that feels like a small stone under the skin.
That is often a verruca. Overlying hard skin can be reduced and the pressure relieved.
The skin between your toes is itchy, damp and peeling.
That is athlete's foot. Very common, and manageable at home once you know the right routine.
You are embarrassed to take your socks off in front of anyone.
I have seen every version of this. There is no reaction, no comment, just work.

ABOUT ME
I am Sabina Venkova, a Foot Health Practitioner with a private studio at 32 Francis Street in The Liberties, Dublin 8. I care for ingrown toenails, calluses, corns, verrucae, fungal and thickened nails and cracked heels, and I work in both English and Ukrainian.
I started as a nail technician in Ukraine and moved into foot care in 2020, after I needed care for my own toes. That experience is the reason I do this work. I know what it is like to walk around with pain you keep quiet about, and I have always wanted a profession where I actually help people.
My first training was in Ukraine, in one to one courses with some of the country's best specialists. After moving to Ireland I completed the Foot Health Practitioner Level 4 course in Birmingham, Great Britain. That is a UK course, not an Irish NFQ award. I opened my own practice in Dublin on 13 April 2026 and I keep training and adding to my skills.
WHY PEOPLE COME BACK
I completed the Foot Health Practitioner course in Birmingham, Great Britain, on top of six years of practice and personal training with leading foot care specialists in Ukraine. Foot health practitioners are not state registered in Ireland, so I would rather show you my training than hide behind a title.
I will tell you what can be improved today, what needs several visits, and what is outside my scope and belongs with your GP. You will never be sold something you do not need.
Instruments are cleaned and sterilised after every client, single use materials are opened in front of you, and only one person is in the studio at a time.
I came to this profession because of my own painful toes. Nothing about your feet will surprise or embarrass me.
FIRST TIME HERE
If you have never been to a foot health studio before, here is exactly what happens. No surprises.
You tell me what is bothering you and since when. I ask about your health, medication and what you have already tried. Nothing here is judged.
Skin, nails, pressure points, the way your shoes wear down. This is when I usually find the real cause of the pain.
You hear the plan, the time it takes and the price, and you agree to it. If something is outside what I can safely do, I say so and point you to the right professional.
Sterile instruments, careful work, and most people feel the difference as they stand up. You leave with simple aftercare advice and, if needed, a suggested date for the next visit.
BETWEEN VISITS
Rounding the corners is the single most common reason a nail starts growing into the skin. Leave the corner visible and file the edge smooth.
Applied before bed, a urea based foot cream has hours to work while your feet are not under pressure. Skip the area between the toes, it needs to stay dry.
Wearing the same pair every day keeps the same pressure points loaded and keeps the inside damp. Alternating pairs prevents both calluses and fungal problems.
REVIEWS
Sabina is such a patient, result driven and amazing specialist. She truly loves her work, her clients and their problems. You will definitely be in good hands. Also the space itself is very stylish, clean and just lovely to be in.
I have been going to Sabina for a few years to help regrow a toenail. She is so kind, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
Always a wonderful experience. I work in hospitality and my feet were an absolute mess when I started with Sabina. I always feel like I am walking on air after my appointments. Thank you so much.
I was nervous about going in but Sabina made me completely at ease. The salon is clean and is very relaxing. I will definitely be returning.
