About me
I am Sabina Venkova, a Foot Health Practitioner with a private studio at 32 Francis Street in The Liberties, Dublin 8. I care for ingrown toenails, calluses, corns, verrucae, fungal and thickened nails and cracked heels, and I work in both English and Ukrainian.
I started as a nail technician in Ukraine and moved into foot care in 2020, after I needed care for my own toes. That experience is the reason I do this work. I know what it is like to walk around with pain you keep quiet about, and I have always wanted a profession where I actually help people.
My first training was in Ukraine, in one to one courses with some of the country's best specialists. After moving to Ireland I completed the Foot Health Practitioner Level 4 course in Birmingham, Great Britain. That is a UK course, not an Irish NFQ award. I opened my own practice in Dublin on 13 April 2026 and I keep training and adding to my skills.

When I will send you elsewhere
To be completely clear: I am not a podiatrist or a chiropodist, and I am not registered with CORU. Those are protected titles in Ireland for a different, state registered profession. My title is foot health practitioner, which is not a regulated title here, so I would rather tell you exactly what my training is and what I do and do not do.
I am a Foot Health Practitioner, not a doctor. I care for healthy adults with everyday foot problems. If I see signs of infection, a wound that is not settling, a condition that needs medicine, or anything that belongs in medical hands, I will tell you plainly at the appointment and point you to your GP or a CORU registered podiatrist. Saying that honestly is part of the job.
Routine comfort care of nails and hard skin is available to adults with well controlled diabetes and no complications. I do not offer diabetic foot care as a clinical service - foot ulcers, wounds and loss of sensation belong with a CORU registered podiatrist or your GP.
